writers portrait- reflection

I love to write, but my process is unnecessarily difficult. I get an idea and slowly but surely, I begin to develop it. My creativity comes in waves, or like strikes of lightning. When I get these strikes I must run to my computer or a piece of paper to get my ideas out, or else they will escape. After getting to my chosen media, I am hunched over typing to get out my ideas, even if these words don’t make sense if I get the idea out. I will type so fast by the end I will have fragments of my words, but it doesn’t matter as I have them down. When writing for long periods of time I type with my computer in my lap and mostly flattened. I type fastest and most accurately like this, compared to normal on a desk. Though I do like to watch my fingers when I type on a desk, not because I have to see the keyword but because I like to see the ways my hands move.
