Some areas I need to work on include theses and significance. A
thesis is extremely important in writing because it sums up the topic of the
paper and describes the argument being made in the paper. Though when I write a
thesis I always feel like the beginning of the year of eighth grade when a
thesis was “I believe this because 1, 2, and 3” I just wish I sounded more
mature when writing my thesis. I am also very bad about including significance
in the story, or the why. I am always worried after reading my work people will
wonder what the point was because I am not very good at including the
significance. I think the problems I have is the depth and development of my
thesis and that when I’m telling a story I always feel like the significance is
obvious.
